I filled in the DS 156 forms for my parents and have sent it to them. These are the ones that have barcode in them. I have explained the significance of the barcode and the way it is generated.
I asked my dad to tell the VO that he filled the form by himself and he took no ones help to fill in the form. Same for my mom too.

Both of them know what is in the form and are aware of the data that is available in the form.

Will the VO really gruel them with questions suspecting that they might not have filled the form?

Why lie...when you filled the forms for them...it is no big deal for them to say that you filled the forms!
