Hi,
I had to leave to India during winter break due to personal emergency.I had been in constant touch with my graduate advisor at the university ever since I left.My graduate advisor filed a Leave of absence for me since I couldn't return in time for the fall semester.However I didn't know I had to contact ISPS before submitting a Leave of Absence.
ISPS has terminated my SEVIS for unauthorized withdrawal.I know I can request a new i20 for next semester.But that will make me be in India for more than 5 months.So, I will have to apply for a new visa.
I wanna return for summer school.Will they provide me an i20 starting from summer instead of fall?Also, I wanna transfer to a different university for fall after finishing summer school in the current university.I have the admit to the new school.
I had fixed a phone appointment with ISPS advisor.I wanna know things before I talk to the advisor.
I request your suggestion.
