Is mentioning 2 months too less for the b2 visa? if you want to go for 2 months only, does it mean that you might not be given a 10 year multiple visa??

No it is not too less. In fact it is quite reasonable in most cases.
For example; a student going for a 2 month visit to US during the summer
vacation, it is perfectly fine. A busy physician going on a 2 week vacation
to US in just fine.

A desired stay of 2 months does not necessarily mean that you will not be
given a 10 yr visa.
