H4 Travel

Hi friends,

Need Help. My employer is filing my H1 B visa next month. If my H1B is approved my start date will be in oct 2011. If my wife gets h4 stamped how soon can she travel to USA.

I just want to know whether she is able to travel to USA before my Start date.

No, she will have to wait until Oct 1 to travel on H4. If you are on F1 status now (OPT) then she can definitely try for F2 Visa to travel right now (if she does that she will have to apply for change of status to H4 before Oct 1).
