My mother wants to visit USA. She is going to apply for visitors visa. She is a widow and she lives in India with my two siblings, who are still studying. Her source of income is the income from our agriculture farms, rent she gets from tenants living at her home, pension and Fixed Deposit. She also owns 2 houses. When she'll visit US, she is going to stay at my place but she is sponsoring her and my siblings visit on her own. As my siblings are still studying and my mom has property of her own in India, it proofs she is definitely not going to stay in USA. What documents she is required at the time of visa interview?

Widows are denied quite often, even with your mother's ties , she could be denied just because she is a widow. It would be better if she travelled alone for a short stay or with one sibling left behind as a family tie.

Please note that documents are not usually looked at and decision will be made in seconds mainly on her answers. When they ask her her income she must be ready with a strong figure including all her income ( Have a CA list down her monthly income from all sources).
And she must carry any documents to prove that income, just in case they ask to look at them.

Approximately how much income my mother should show during her interview? If my siblings gets a letter from their college that they have to return back to India after certain time because of their examination, will that help? Because if one of my sibling will go for interview with my mother, then it would be difficult for the other one to get visa afterwards. Please help.

1L per month should do.

A college letter is not taken as a guarantee of his coming back.
They think US is too tempting especially to young , single people.

All of them going, leaving no family ties just won't work. The officer would think' " what is the need for them to go all at once? "

The best thing is for your mother to apply alone . That way the two sons act as a tie.
Ties are extrememly important for a widow, who already stands a high chance to be denied.

@Peace999 - Thank you....one last question -
My husband is on L1B and I am L2 dependent, I am not working. Our visa is going to expire in Sept.2012. He has applied for an extension and if he got the extension he will get visa for another 1 year, otherwise we will be coming back to India in Sept.2012. My husband's income is not that much that he can support my family financially and that is why my mother is herself sponsoring for her and my 2 siblings. Me and my husband are not planning to settle here as he has his own family to look after in India. So if he write an application to visa office in India, although he is not sponsoring, mentioning that any how, at any cost my mother and siblings are going to return back to India after 1-2 months and its just a pleasure trip which they planning because of my siblings college holidays. My mother can't even speak English and she can't even imagine to stay in USA, leaving her home back in India. If we mention all these things in application, will this going to help my family to get visa. Please Help.

You have to understand that no amount of pleading, writing letters works.

Their decision is based on their indirect assessment of your presentation . And the best one can do is present a situation which does not arouse suspicion of immigrant intent.

In your case, your siblings have their whole life in front of them to visit or work in US.
So, you should not worry about them.

You should try and get your mother to visit who probably won't get another chance.
