OCI PIO Clarification

Hello –

Our daughter was born in the US on Dec 27, 2012. However, I and my wife are Indian Citizens. I was just wondering if my daughter would be eligible for an OCI. We have moved back to India and were hoping to apply for the OCI here itself.

If not, do we have to apply for a PIO and keep renewing it? Please let me know.

No, she can get a PIO card only. It is valid for 15 years
