Is it safe to travel to India with OPT expiry in 90 days

Hello everybody,
I reside in the USA. I am currently on OPT. My OPT expires this July. I haven't filed for my OPT extension yet. I might have to make a trip to India for 3 weeks, starting next. Is it safe to do so, as my OPT expires in around 90 days time.
Please advice.

Yes, as long as you have a job to return to and a valid F1 Visa, that is fine. You will also need I-20 with travel signature.
