PIO card holder extended stay more than 6 mths

Hi,
My daughter is a US citizen and is in India for last few months..I read it in the Immihelp that I have to registed her about her India stay before this 6 mths period..but I am not aware about the location and authority with whom I have to talk to regarding this in India. I lives in Mumbai.

Could anyone help me regarding this..i.e whom I need to contact and what r the documents required.

There is no need to register for minors(< 16 years of age) I guess.
