Reg: Travel to INDIA on CPT after H1B approval

Hi,

My stem OPT has expired on March 2012. To get a valid work status I have joined in a university and got CPT. Last week I have applied for H1B(premium Processing). If my H1B got approved by this month end(April 2012),Can I go to INDIA on Student VISA My student visa(which is on my previous university name) is valid till August 2012. I am planning to be as student till my H1B start date(october 2012).

Can I go to INDIA for one month on Student VISA, before my student VISA expires?
If so, What all the documents are required to travel?
As my H1B already got approved, Do I need to go to H1B Visa Stamping?

It is not advisable to travel before the COS becomes effective. It will cause all kind of status confusions. If you have to travel, then plan to return back only on H1B visa affter the H1B petition efective date (You are allowed to enter U.S n H1B visa only 10 days prior to the H1B effective date).
