Can Port of exit be different from Port of Entry for a Pakistani origin US citizen?

My wife and kids are US citizens. Wife was born in Pakistan. They all have 10 year multiple entry visa that was issued about 4 years ago and they traveled there at the time. Now they are planning another trip and also want to visit Pakistan. Here are some questions if anyone can help;
1. If they fly in to Delhi, can they leave India by bus to go to Lahore, Pakistan after few weeks, or they are required to exit the same way they came in?
2. The 10 year multiple visa was issued 4 years ago. Is there any need to get that verified or something? The question comes because she is Pakistani origin.
