Default Salaried to Hourly during GC processing

Recently my Company was acquired by another company. We were offered two pay options in our new company offer letters. One is to retain our current salaried pay structure (biweekly) and the other is to get paid hourly.

Can i switch to hourly pay? Will that affect my GC processing?

I recently got my EAD however i am still on H1 and my 485 is pending. My PD is Mar, 2009. Any inputs is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Any substantial changes to your current employment will mean that a new LCA and H1 petition amendment may need to be filed. Immigrant petition is for a future job and that will not be affected until you actually get the GC. You and your employer should consult with your company's lawyer before accepting any changes.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
