Hi,
We have applied I 485 for mom-in-law and her B2 is expiring in a month. Can we apply for a I539 - extension of stay. Will there be any problems for the I 485 and GC?

Can we file I 539 if I485 is pending

If you have I-485 pending, you don't need to file I-539.
