my friend he is citizen of usa.and his girlfriend she as a business visa for last 7 year and her visa gonna expire in this august.so if my friend he gonna marry to his girlfriend in future she get the greencard or not cause she is from mexico and tht guy he is from pakistan.so please give me some suggestion if they gonna marry thts work for her to stay in usa.

She can get green card based on the marriage;

there are two ways;

1. She comes to US on her B1 visa, they get married, she goes back to mexico.
Husband files petition ( I-130) for her in USA, she gets immigrant visa in mexico in a few months.
2. She comes to US on her B1 visa, they get married, husband files I-130 and AOS( adjustment
of status) and she adjusts to green card in a few months.

Option 1 is very safe.
Option 2 ; there is a risk. If the officer thinks she had intention to marry when she came on B1,
they can deny . Because then it is violation of B1 terms. Also because, they are basically from differrent cultures, they can suspect marriage of convenience.

I suggest go with option 1; the right way.
