L1 A visa stamping - Original degree certificates along with mark sheets.

Hi,

I am on L1 A visa extension in USA. I have approved visa extn till Dec-12. My I-94 is expired.

I am going for vacation to India and needs to get visa stamping done..

I have photo copies of engg degree and marksheets and originals are left in my native place..

Is original degree certificate along with original mark sheets is mandatory for visa stamping?

You need to carry all your originals for the visa stamping. They may or may not check. But that totally depends on the VO? But if they ask, you need to have them handy. Otherwise, you will receive a 221g for the same.

Yes . Carry all originals. I had been 3 times and each time Visa officer asked different documents. One time show me your recent Pay stub, Next time asked Degree certificate, 3rd time I was with Family and asked me to show Children Birth certificates
