I'm working under a H1B visa and I've been paying taxes, SS and Medicare for 10 years (through college and now working), but I'm resigning my job and going back to my country to pursue other opportunities. What happens to all the SS and Medicare contributions that I've made over the years? Can I ever claim those back? when I'm 62?
