Hello,
I have just finished (April 2012) a M.Sc. in my home country and I have been admitted to a Ph.D. (with full funding and a personal salary) in the US (it will start on September 2012).
So I am completing the ds-160 form to get a f1 visa for my Ph.D.
My question is: what should I write as "Primary Occupation"?
I think I have three options:
- student, writing details about the US university where I will do my Ph.D.
- student, writing details about the university where I have just got the Ms.C.
- not employed, explaining my situation.
The problem is that currently I am not working nor studying, but I will soon start a Ph.D.
I can prove that I have been admitted to the Ph.D. showing the admission letter. The letter also shows that the university will pay my tuition and it will give me a salary.
Thank you,
Bye
