Drivers license and Bankna/c

Pl advise me how to go about getting a temporary DL at US during my visit soon.Also how to open a Savings bank a/c at a US bank as I need to use it during my visits.

Which Visa are you visiting on? DL requirements vary by state, but most states don't allow B1/B2 Visitors to apply for DL. If you are using any other Visa, you may be able to apply. Check your state's DMV website. Also, most states allow B1/B2 Visitors to use their foreign DL to drive a car. But you must keep your passport with you at all times.

For opening a bank account, you will need two forms of ID. One can be your passport, but I don't know if banks will accept your foreign license as the second.

I hold a tourist B2 visa.I will be visiting Ohio state.So,if some states allow foreign license to be used in US,can I use Indian DL in Ohio?Or should I get a IDL here in India?
Reg IDs for Bank A/c,I have PP,PAN card.If I take an IDL will it be considered?
Am I ,being an Indian citizen permitted to open a bank a/c in US.

If the state allows foreign licenses, generally license itself is sufficient. If the license is not in English, International Driver Permit in English may be necessary. Check Ohio DMV website and carry a printout of the relevant webpages with you.
I am not sure if B2 Visitors can open a bank account, most others definitely can. Search for 'can foreigner open bank account in US' on Google.
It is totally up to the bank what ID they will accept as second ID. Passport is definitely accepted.
