    Question hometown marriage

    hi
    just wanna know if its possible for me and my fiance to go back to my country 2-3 months after having been married to the USA?

    After you get married to her on a fiance visa , you have to file an Adjustment of status to permanent residence for her. It will take more than 2-3 months and she cannot leave US before her adjustment is done.

    yes, it is possible. Apply for a travel doc( adv. parole) when filing AOS.
    Should not leave US without it even when traveling to canada, carribean.

    my american friend marry a filpina and they had their marriage in d Phil.
    but the marriage didnt work out so they separated.
    now he met another filipina and wants to marry again in the Philippines,
    what should he do? will they allow to have their marriage in the Philippines
    even if his former wife is a filipina?
