lost US passport
HI
My husband currently in India, he is US citizen through naturalization process. He lost his Passport while he is on this trip. He is supposed to be back to US by 10/10/04. What should he do about getting duplicate passport, to still be back on the scheduled time. (he could not get it, in spite of him advertising in the paper etc.. he claims). Please advise!

He needs to file an FIR with the police (if he hasn't already done that)..then he should take a copy of that FIR and go to the US consulate....they will help him get a duplicate passport etc.
