Fingerprint

Hi,
How long it will take to get the letter for the finger print. I sent my N-400 on August 12, 2004.
On August 26 I received Notice of Action with date August 20, 2004. Some people around me (Houston, TX) told me that their letters for finger print arrived within 2-3 weeks and I still don't have anything.
I am asking this question because my job requires me to travel too much out of the town sometimes for a couple of weeks and I need to now how to plan my trips, so not to miss something.

Where did you apply from ?

My family had similar experience in Houston. applied in sept 2004, fingerprinted in Oct 2004, interview in Nov 2004 and have their oath scheduled for Jan 2005.

I have applied from Dallas, TX with priority date of Aug 12, 2004. Had the fingerprint in Sept 2004 but have not heard anything after that.
The USCIS website for case status search shows that it takes between 750-990 days to process such applications.!!!!!

Please share your experience in details. as to where u applied from and what is ur latest status...?
