Obviously, since the child would be a US citizen, the child can travel freely to the US whenever he or she wants to.
Once the child turns 21, the child can sponsor the parents for a Greencard. The child, once grown up, can of course vote in US elections, and be elected to office. The office of US president requires the holder to be a naturally born US citizen. An unintended side effect may be that the child may not be able to get the citizenship of his or her parents, depending on the laws of their countries. |
