conditional green card & citizenship

conditional green card & citizenship

I have a quesion her. I came into USA on a conditional green card and then before the expiry date we filled the form I-751 to remove the conditon on my green card but it has been 2 and a half years and i have not heard from them. Meanwhile one year ago we filed for the citizenship so i have a interview for my citizenship in April 1st 2003 so my question is will i get my citizenship even if I did not yet received the new green card.

Would appreciate all the suggestions.

i just read your post and its been posted long time ago.Actually was just curiuos to know that what happened to your citizenship case.Actually i have also applied to remove the condtional residency for my card and its been 9 months and havn't heard from them, but in October i will be eligible to apply for Citizenship.Please tell me did u get ur citizenship..you can e-mail me directly at hpreet19@yahoo.com.
