If she doesn't have a SSN, just put N/A there.

Default N400, need wife's ss# first? Please, help!

The application for naturalization for N-400 section 8, #4 asks for my wife's social security number. She is living abroad and has a VISA but not a social security number yet. I have been here more than five years and married her abroad one year ago. I am trying to become naturalized so she can move here with me. Please, help!

Do I need to fill out an SS-5 to get her a social security number first, or should I just send in the N-400 with this field blank?

Please, respond as quickly as possible. Thank you!!!!
