Hi,
I am planning on applying for citizenship ( from CA Bay Area / Fremont ) end of this month, but I will be out of the country for a 35 days after that. I was wondering if it is possible to reschedule the finger print appointment If I get and miss the appointment while I am out of the country. From what I have read in this forum, the finger print appointments are usually scheduled within a month of the application. Also, My wife will be out of the country for a short visit during the time I file our application, but will be back after I file the application, so should I put down the expected date of her return - while putting down - 'dates outside the country'. Also should I put down the dates I will be out of the country ( after the application filing date ) or should this be mentioned during the interview. Otherwise is it adviseable to wait till we are back from our foreign visits and then file the application? Thanks, SR |
