Default Staying outside USA

I have a few queries on citizenship validity if a child is born in US to Indian parents..

1. How long can he stay outside US continuoulsy?

2. Is any registration reqd in INDIA for a US citizen if staying beyond a period of time, and what is the max period allowed?

3. Does a child being a US Citizen help the parents in acquiring citizenship?

Default

1. As long as he wants.
2. Depends upon whether the child is on India visa or PIO card.
