Default 5 year residency

Hi guys,

I Hope someone can help me out with this question. From the time i got my green card, 1998, until 2003 i used to travel back and forth from my country to the US, i would usually stay a month or so in the US and then go back. Since 2003 I've lived in the US... what i'm wondering does the time a spent going back and forth count in respect to the 5 year residence requirement?
I've never stayed outside the US more than a year.

Thanx,

Gus
