Question PIO card or India Visa

Hi

We have a 5 month old baby and me and my husband are green card holder, we are planning a trip to India with the baby.

So is it good for me to apply for PIO card or India visa for him?

Has anyone here done the same, please do guide me what the procedure you followed and documents you submitted and how long did each took?

Hoping for some advice

Thanks for your time

India visa: http://www.immihelp.com/nri/indiavisa.html
PIO card: http://www.immihelp.com/nri/pio.html

It is better to get PIO card. Getting PIO card takes 3-4 weeks.
Visa takes few days. If you apply in person, same day.
