I received my GC in 1987 then in 1990 I applied for U S citizenship in Phoenix
after 9 months, I did get an intervew where I was asked then various US civics questions by the Immigration officers.
I was told now we have all your documents , BUT no recorded marriage papers. ! I was told I have to bring it in so the process can be completed .
Being stupidly excited I got lost and time and years went by.,and I was not able to provide this paper. I did get the marriage papers recorded and now I would like or i do desire to get this us citizenship. What can I do. Is it possible to ask for the case to be reopened ? and how can I do that. ? How or what must be done.
Please can anyone assist me. ?
