  • Employment letter should be on a company letterhead.

  • Employment start date at the current employer must NOT be before EAD start date or H1 transfer receipt date.

  • Job title at the current employer should either be the same or very similar to the one mentioned in the original labor certification.

  • Salary at the current employer should be at least as much as mentioned in the original labor certification. Reporting a slightly higher salary is fine. But your salary should not be lower that what is mentioned in the certification.

  • Job duties at the current employer should be the same or very similar to what was mentioned in the original labor certification.
