As Kolkata consulate does not have immigrant visa section (except in the exceptional cases listed above), all immigrant applicant under Kolkata consulate jurisdiction should go to Mumbai.

The Consulate is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for all non-immigrant visa applications. They are not open on Wednesdays. Although they try to accommodate visa applicants by following this schedule closely, it is not always possible. There may be days when they have to close due to administrative reasons or other unforeseeable circumstances. They will try to post advance notice on these occasions, if they can.
