Consular Section

Visa applicants need to come to the Madani (north) side of the Embassy. They need to enter the Consular Section through Gate 2 near Park Road.

American Citizen Services

List of American citizen services

Regular American Citizen Services (ACS) are available by appointment only. 

Visit the embassy website to schedule an appointment.

However, in emergencies, no appointment is required, and the services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the phone number listed above.

For document delivery cases, such as passports, federal benefits, etc., no appointment is required, and such services are available on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, except for American and local holidays.

During normal work hours, call +880-2-5566-2000, and ask for the American Citizen Services section.
After business hours, call +880-2-5566-2000, and dial “3” to reach the Embassy Duty Officer.
