Marriage based I 485

Can I travel to Mexico with my 2 year permanent residence right away? And in order to travel do I need any other documents or just my green card or my driver lisence or my mexican passport ?

I have my marriage based interview this Tuesday, 12/19 and my wife misplaced her naturalization certificate, what can I do? Is there anyway to get a copy on Monday? I'm so sad

Hello Everyone, hope is everyone is doing well.
Just wanted to know if anyone is in the same boat as me. My husband got approved on the spot on dec. 5th. As of today we still don’t have a greencard. It will be two weeks on Tuesday. It’s to the point where It’s driving me crazy, I wake up and fall asleep just thinking about it. If I didn’t have plans to travel this Dec. I wouldn’t worry as much. All I want is for this to be over. May god bless you all in your journey.

Since now am conditional resident I don’t get when they say I have to remove my conditions 90 days before the 2nd annivesary as a conditional green holder ? Can any give me a good example

 So when am exactly eligible to remove my conditions ?

On October 31st, I filed my I-130 and I-485. I got the message via mail saying that received it on November 6th and on November 13 they accepted my fingerprint fee. I did my Biometrics on December 4 and I received a courtesy letter a couple days later that was dated December 5 that they didn't receive my medical and that I have to produce it at the interview. In the letter it also stated that I should not send any documents as that will delay my case.

I called and was told that I don't have to send any additional documents or fees to submit my I-763 just the I-797C. Everything have been moving fast thus far. I hope submitting my I-765 wouldn't delay anything.

Can anyone in NY tell me more about their experiences. On one of the forms I chose to be interviewed in Buffalo cause NYC was just too backed up......

Hello everyone, I would like to know the importance of receiving i 130 receipt in the mail, we got the SMS with the case ID, so we can check the status online. However, notice of action mail was not received at home, its been over a month. Thank you.

My interview went well and approved on the spot, interview was Nov 14th. The online status says New card is being produced for about a month. Is any one in similar situation and later got their GC

I've been a quiet reader of this forum, and would like to share some new info i learnt today... I have a green card application through my USC spouse. we had our interview in August 2017 at NYC Federal Plaza and have been waiting since then. Interview went well, no additional document request, and was told this should be approved much sooner than 120 days. it has been more than 120 days and no result. I went to USCIS today with an info pass, and the person at the counter looked up my case and was very confused, as he said he couldn't see my case being assigned to any officer, and is still awaiting decision. he then explained to me that in late September / early october, the NYC office had a reorganization and some cases were re-assigned as a result of the reorg. As such, my case was unfortunately "abandoned" in the process and is currently waiting for any officer to pick up in their spare time. I asked if I could request my case be picked up, and the officer told me that they are not accepting any "expedited" requests impacted by this reorganization until February 2018. This is absolutely frustrating and unfortunate, but I did find his explanation somewhat reasonable. I know this isn't a positive development, but i hope this update offers some readers in the similar situation some more insights. Happy holidays all and wish the wait will end soon!
