Finger Print Done--- 02/10-2016.. Syracuse NY

I-765 Status change 03/17/2016-- we transferred your Form I-765, Application for Employment
Authorization , Receipt Number MSC **** **** *, to another USCIS office.
That office now has jurisdiction over your case. " Vermont "

Anybody with EAD I-765 at the same status ? how long does Vermont take to process in that situation?

New York Filers
Good day all, I want to get a true sense of where New York filers are in the Adjustment of Status process. if you are an October or November 2015 filer, could you share your PD, New York field office and whether or not you have received an interview date?

Thanks you family.

My PD is 11/25/2015 - no interview date received as yet. Hoping to hear something later this month.

Still no Biometric Notice
Hi everyone,

i'm just frustrated bcoz until now I haven't receive any noa for the biometric sked.

March 1, 2016 - Filed docs
March 3, 2016 - Docs received by USCIS Chicago
March 12/14, 2016 - received 1st NOA stating that the application has been reveived by the office and is in process

From then on until now there is no action at all. Even the receipt number can't still be check online. kept calling the USCIS and all they can say is the number is not yet in the system blah blah blah! I must wait 30-45 days inorder for me to call and monitor it again! Did anyone here experience something like this?

What else can I do?

AOS experience so far
Hey all, been a lurker on this forum and wanted to share my experience. Was hesitant about using a lawyer but have to admit it was the best decision I made given the quick processing times & her diligence.

2/11/16 - Submitted documents through lawyer
2/23/16 - USCIS Chicago debited $1,470 from account
2/27/16 - Received Notice of action
3/14/16 - Bio-metrics interview done
4/6/16 - Interview date scheduled for 5/12/16 when I checked the USCIS website.

Prepping for the interview and would like to hear any tips from anyone on what to expect/not expect. Interview is in the Philadelphia office. IF anyone has any questions feel free to ask

Interview Tomorrow- Federal Plaza (I live Upstate NY)
Hello Guys,

Interview is tomorrow. Just want to thank everyone for their input, it has helped kept me sane. I cant tell you that I look at this forum first before anything else on my pc. Its actually my home page (: My advice to others waiting, dont stress it, relax because this is a waiting game. Just download the immigration app on your phone, but dont peseverate by checking the USCIS website too much. I never look unless I get a notice via the app, text or email that there is an update. Focus on your life. For those without EAD, start looking for jobs and doing interviews. For those waiting on interviews, enjoy life, see the USA and enjoy your spouse and family. One love to all.

Today I got in the mail my EAD. My question are:

Can I go to to the social security office and apply for SSN?
If so what documents should I take with me ?

Thanks.
