adjustment of statut
I have been married for almost one year right now and we got a 2 months baby. but my wife and I cannot get along. it is very difficult to be together without fighting, and she threatens me about my immigration statut. basically i feel left out and scared because i didnt apply yet for my adjustment of statut. i need to know if i can do it without her to try to get my green card to be around my son to see him growing up because we about to divorce. AND one more thing i came with a f1 visa that i have lost since the spring 2015.
NEED HELP AND ADVICE.

EAD
Hi
I recently got my Biometrics done. I was just wondering how long it usually takes to receive the EAD card after Fringerprints appointment.
How long does it usually take to USCSI to approve AOS (I-485) cases?

Any advice and experiences are appreciated.
Thank you.

I want to make an adjustment of status to the 2 kids of my husband. now they are living here. They came here with tourist visa. we want to know if we can apply for the adjustment of status of the kids still pending the i-485 of my husband or we can wait? we would like to know that someone would give us their opinion or advise. Interview help!
Hello!

Here's my timeline for AOS from F1 through marriage to USC:

May 28, 2015: AOS application package received containing i-485, i-130, i-131 and i-765 (Online and text notification)
June 1: Changed address from NC to VA
June 4: Online status-Fingerprint fee received
June 11: Received notices and biometrics appointment letter at new VA address
June 23: Finished biometrics in Raleigh, NC field office
Mid-August: Received combo EAD and AP card
Sept 27: Received interview notice saying interview is scheduled for October 27 in Norfolk, VA field office

I live in DC now and by my USC husband lives in NC. I'm doing an internship here and he is still in graduate school. Therefore, we don't have a lease and other bills in common. We do have lots of bus tickets showing visits to each other's city. We can get a letter from our old landlord whose house we lived at together (before we were married).

We also had a very small wedding with just my husband's parents at their church and only two pictures from that (planning a bigger wedding celebration in India but don't have a fixed date for that yet). But we have lots of other pictures with friends and his family. He also visited my family a few months ago in India and there are pictures of him with them.

We have a joint bank account, which I mainly use and he has a separate one. That's because my paycheck just about covers my living expenses and he is still paying for school. It's hard to comingle finances when you don't have many finances to comingle!

We are on a common insurance plan. We can also get a lot of affidavits from friends and family saying that the relationship is bona fide. We didn't file taxes together for last year because we on;y recently got married. But both our paychecks now show that our tax status is married. I don't drive so I don't have common vehicle registration/auto insurance with my husband.

I would appreciate any suggestions/thoughts on my case. I'm a little worried since I don't have as many documents as some of the other people on the forum. Thank you!

What next?
I had my Bio done in Chicago on Aug 27th but my page is still showing "Fingerprint fee was received". Is this normal & from experience, how long does it take for all this process to be over, Considering the fact that I just mailed my I-765 form today?

Waiting for EAD
Hi, my wait has been the agonizing for my EAD. Below is my timeline:

Priority date: July 6 15
Biometrics appt: Aug 5 15
RFE request: Aug 18 15
USCIS acknowledge receiving RFE: Sept 2 15

The RFE request was pertaining for information on co-sponsor and it has been 26 days since receiving the additional info.

Anyone within the same time period? I believe a few others on my timeline has already received their EADs.
