Should I change my appointment date of my first interview of my I485
I recently moved from Louisiana to North Carolina and I filled an AR-11 letting the USCIS know that I moved. However the same day that I filled the form AR-11 I received to my old address (Louisiana) a notice with the appointment date for the initial interview in the field office of Louisiana. I spoke several time to USCIS about this and one officer told me that I can write a letter to the field office in Louisiana stating that I moved out of state and I will not be able to make it to the interview. Other officers told me that I should just keep the appointment, which is 700 miles away and go to it. The funny thing is that there is also a field office here where I live in Charlotte,NC and now I might have to flight all the way to New Orleans,LA for this interview.

What should I do? Just go to the interview and spend all the money on tickets, hotels, etc? Or writte a letter to the Louisiana field office ? My appointment for the interview is October 22nd.

How long it takes to receive decision after aos interview in chicago field office?
Had my aos interview 7 days ago which seemed went well.. Our i130 had already been approved before my wife turned US Citizen.. Our marriage is also over 3 years now and no much questions were asked after she found out we have a child together and she collected the birth certificate of our daughter and my i94. She educated us on the need to continue living together to make me eligible for Citizenship after 3 years.. She said decision will be mailed to us.. she said she wants to check somethings on computer and then decision will be mailed to us.. Online case status hasn't changed yet and no mail has been received from USCIS.. what does this imply?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions..

permanent resident petition for parents
I am US citizen filling permanent residence petition for parents, i have questions regarding
this:

1. I was born with wedlock condition in 1965, then my parents had their
marriage paper in 1998, so in my birth certificate just my mom's name,
should i file both of those papers.

2. Would it be better if i file I30 together with I485 in the same time?

3. For affidavit support, should the total house hold income be filed ?

Regards,

Yenni

Need help from people who already filed
I come here to the US on the 6th of June on a B2 visa which expires on the 5th of December. I got married to the love of my life who is a US citizen last August 14th. We've been preparing all the paperwork necessary for the adjustment of status. I need help from the people who have already filed their paperwork and got accepted, my only problem is in the form i-864 the affadivet of support. The problem is that my husband is not rich at all, we have enough money to go through the day everyday. He's paying from money he saved up from his previous jobs. He hasn't been working for a year, but he is just about to start a new job next week that pays well. So when we came to fill out form i-864, we can't write anything in the bank account balance or saving balance, cause he doesn't have any money in his bank accounts, he pays by cash.

So this is what we are going to do:
-Include a letter from his new employer stating that he has a new job now with his future annual salary
-And we are including his tax records from his previous jobs

But in the actual i-864 form we are having trouble filling it out, can someone please help me in any way? And no i don't have anyone else who can sponsor me at all. How can i make them see that yes currently he doesn't have money, but that he's getting a job that will pay well.

And in the i-130 form, question 22 which says 'your relative is in the US and will apply for adjustment at the USCIS office in:?"
Do i write Chicago IL where i'm sending the paperwork, or do i write where i am living now, which is where I want my biometrics appointment.
Please any help or tips is appreciated. I've been through alot, and my husband is now my entire life, if they reject this, I have no idea what to do with my life. Thank you so much.

Notice of Interview Never Came!
Hello

I changed my address on Aug 14th, and got the approval before Aug 24th. They sent my notice interview on Aug 26th by mail and I have been waiting since, it's been 4 weeks and I haven't receive my notice in my new address. So during the wait, my EAD card was sent to me (it''s sent by 2-day priority mail), thanks to the tracking number, I realized that the EAD card was sent my old apt address. So I went back and got all the mails from the old mailbox, I got my EAD card but still couldn't find my notice of interview. I am very concerned about it, since the interview is coming up on September 25th.
I called the service but they say I could only call them after 30 days of the notice being sent, (which is AFTER September 26th), BUT my interview is on 25th!!

I am very concerned about it and I don't know what to do. I live in Austin and I know that the interview will be held in San Antonio Field Office. I can't find the number of SA Field office so I wouldn't be able to contact them. Do you guys thing I should just go there on 25th and be present without the notice of interview? ( but I don't know the exact time of the interview). I also made an appointment through infopass on Sept 25th.

Please I need help!

NEED HELP
I came in to the US June 2013 on a B2 VISA met this girl n got married in August 2013 but we couldnt work things out got divorced April 2014. Got married to my wife in MAY 2014. I didnt apply for AOS in my first marriage but did it in JUNE 2014 , my EAD had be approved according to my status on line and schedule for interview on 11th Sep 2014.
Now i dont have much evidence to take along bcos i was not having SSN to apply for Bank account, insurance and all that. But i have our apartment lease in my name. my wife wasnt approved to be on the lease cos of her bad credit. The only bill we share now is the Light bill, and she took my last name too.
What are my chances cos the timing of my marriage is short and i have 2 divorces.
Our marriage wasnt big, just the two of us( no witness) and the minister,we have few pictures we took together cos am not working right now. Hence we dont have money.

PLS guys i need your advice on what to do.

WHAT NOW?
We just got back from AOS interview (marriage based GC).
We had 9am appointment...got called in by middle aged, lovely lady.
sworn in and sat. asked for original documents. she looked at them, took notes and returned them to us.
she never took my wife's EAD.
She ask for proof of bonafide: we give lease, joint bills, joint accounts, joint car insurance.....
She ask how we met, when we started dating, when i propose?
She ask wife why she overstayed her visa?
She then ask wife info about me on my biographic page (wife got all correct)
she ask me about wife bio and i flopped on wife's birthday (i said 22 when its 20) and flopped on wedding date (i said 4 when it is 24...my first marriage of 12 years was on the 4th: i explained that..and we all lol)....
We had a big photo album but IO didnt ask to see it, maybe cuz we had lots of joint documents (bills, lease, bank, car)
we received a copy of a letter the IO let us signed. "you have been granted CPR status effective the date of approval of AOS"..and next paragraph is about removing conditions in 2 years.

Does this mean she is approved for green card, cuz the IO didnt say those words..she basically said that she has to look over the case.
Please help..anyone knows what to expect? thank you
We are lost and worried.

Interview Aug 25th
So I had my interview yesterday 25th and I was approved on the spot! Ours was schedule at 8:15 we got there at 8:00 and checked in. We were in the waiting room for aprox. 45/ an hour, the Officer call us by the last name and she walked us into her office. She was about my age (late 20's). She introduced herself and asked for ID's and any government documents I had and the I94 i set it on her desk and then she put us under oath and told us to sit down. She started by asking my husband the questions about the I130, and then she asked me the questions about I485 (which all the answers were NO) After that she asked how we met and we told her it was online and she asked how did it happen... no questions about the wedding, she never asked to see the pics we brought how many times we saw each other before getting married, nothing. She laughed a lot when I told her that in the first time my hubby and I talked on the phone he fell asleep on me and all I could her was him snoring. After that she asked what documents I had brought to prove the bona fide marriage, so I gave her Life insurance, credit card statement, phone bill, renters insurance, checking acc statements. She looked at those and she said everything looked good. Then she said that if we had a smart phone she would like to take a look at Facebook or instagram, i told her that i would me more than happy to show it, but that unfortunately my mom is the only one who is supportive of my sexuality and that my husbands family aren't really ok with his sexuality either and that we never post anything about us. She said that she understood that being gay can be a tricky subject and that its ok she didn't need it to see our phones then. She was joking around , smiling, made us feel very very comfortable. She also said that me ( the beneficiary) taking my husband's last name is a big proof of the marriage being bona fide. After that she said that everything looked great, that she believed we were a legit couple and that she didn't have to ask anything else. She proceeded to tell us about the 2 years green card, that I was going to get in the mail within 2 weeks and congratulations. She asked us if we had any questions and laughed and said: remember its free!!!! And i said I don't have any questions, you have been very clear explaining everything. She printed out a paper saying that my interview result was APPROVED. She walked us out and aprox 10 min later i received notification by e-mail and txt message saying that I485 was in card production and I130 was approved.
Now that this is all over I can finally breathe!!!!! SO remember people, pray, have faith, be calm, everything will be fine!!!! Good luck to all of u!!!! The whole process from start to finish took 94 days!!!!
