Green Card received - Marriage Based I-485 application
All the best to all and hopefully below is helpful for everyone.

Petition Date - June 24,2020 from Houston, Texas
Category - Marriage Based Green Card and Adjustment of status
Concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864, I-944
Interview Date - Oct 8, 2021
Green card received - Oct 16,2021

Interview Details:
We stayed loyal and only said truth during process.

The interview for my wife’s adjustment of status application I-485 was scheduled on 10/8/2021 at Houston local office in Texas state. Both of us were asked to come for the interview. We were allowed to enter before 15 mins. There was no rule about what to wear and not but kept it formal so it looks decent and suited for the occasion. We waited for 30 mins after we checked in and the consulate came to receive and walk us to his cabin. The agent was neutral in nature. Just gentle welcome and no smile or funny moments throughout the interview. The overall interview took about 25-30 mins. I was very organized and had all the supporting documents - financial, joint assets, gift receipts, traveling tickets to show we often came to see each other before marriage while in the different states, tickets for the trips after marriage together and future trip tickets. Overall i carried whatever i could to give to the agent as proof.

The officer started asking me and my wife questions. First he asked me more and a few to my wife. The officer had all documents we have submitted to USCiS so far and all applications with him i130, i-485, i-765, i-131, i864, i944. At the end of questions i handed over all the documents i could to officer and said all is for you to keep. The officer said everything is looking good but cant give you decision right away and he has to complete some background check and review alll the documents i submitted. He gave us our hard copies of travelling tickets back and said he doesnt need it.

Questions asked to me:
Who is she related to you?
Where, when and how did you meet?
Who proposed?
When did you get marry?
Where did you go for honeymoon?
Couple of questions from I-130 form:
Who owns house? Do you live in house or apartment?
Do you have any joint assets?
Do you have join bank accounts?
Did you had grand wedding? No due to covid.
Are you planning wedding soon? I said yes.

Questions asked to my wife:
Where did you meet?
When did you get marry?
When did you come first to US?
When was your last entry to US?
A few yes and no questions and other questions from I-485 application that we had filled,

I carried below documents with me and gave all to the officer after interview completed. Never forget to give I-693 if not submitted before and not asked by officer.
My and wife original birth certi and copies,
SSN for both original and copies,
Driver IDs for both original and copies,
Marriage certi orignal and copy,
Passport copies only,
My citizenship certi orignal and copy,
My us passport original and copy,
Employment letter showing start date and current employment for both of us,
Paystubs copies for last 3 months for both of us,
Tax returns, w2s and tax transcripts for last 3 years,
Social Security Statments,
Joint bank account proof and last 3 month statements,
Hard copies of photos from the day we met with description on the back -about 50 photos from 20 events including wedding ceremony event,
Hard copies of all travel tickets to see each other or trip together,
My wife’s original EAD card and copy, copy of i-20, i-94

My wife’s I-693 - confidential sealed envelop,

10/12/2021 - Case Approved for both I-485 and I-130
10/14/2021 - Mailed new card
10/16/2021 - Green Card received

I would suggest all the applicants and petitioners to keep calm and be loyal throughout the process since he is also human being. Not only interview but starting from day 1 when you apply to until you get success. The process is easy but it tales some time due to current backlog they have due to Covid19 and lack of employees in the office. All the best everyone for your process!

Inadmissibility
Hello Everyone,
Please, what can I do if the USCIS denies your I-485 and I-130 petitions on the reason that you lied on your Visa application and that you are inadmissible to come to the US and receive green card even after you have been living in this country for 4 years .My lawyer says to file a waiver ( proof of hardship to the petitioner, my husband)to remove these allegations even as we refile. What do you think? Thanks so much for your response
