i-485 denied
My PD is Feb 2.

Filled i-140 and i-485 concurrently as EB2. Was on F1 status, however when I received the AP I left the US and reentered on May 28th.
First the i-140 was regular processing then we switched to premium. The two receipt notices show EB2. Approval notice of i-140 came on June 13th as EB3. My attorney did not notice until I got the denial for the i-485 on July 20.
We called the NSC and they mentioned that they will let us now in 15 days. However, I read that if they ever going to change it back to EB2, that would take at least 2 months. Now this would pass the date to reopen the i-485. Can something be done beyond the 33 days?

Anyone knows if they would react in a timely manner? I stopped working based on the denial, worried about if they will let me finish my degree at school, and my life and health is ruined. Should I contact congressmen and senators? Schedule an infopass? Is there anything that would help?

Also after we received the denial, we filed another i-485 as EB3 with TSC. Any insight as to when I could get a new EAD or the GC based on this second application?

Thanks in advance!
