Hi All,
Need help. I am a US Citizen, married to Immigrant ( We live in the USA) . Her son, my stepson lives in Turkey and we just got notice of his Interview at the US Consulate for July.

My Wife's/our Green card I-485 interview is scheduled 1 week before his interview. She wants to fly over to turkey after the interview to be at our sons interview.

If her Green Card is approved at the interview, Can she leave the country, and I mail it to her overseas when it's received?

check out this, if you didn't file i131 with her I485, you might need to get travel doc for traveling.

We were approved for green card on the spot during interview. 1 week later son had interview overseas at consulate and got a visa. Wife flew over shortly after receiving Green card in the mail 1 month after approval.. I’m flying today and we’ll return to the Us as a complete family.

What did you file to get her son the interview? I am in the same situation. I have a gc, married to a usc but my 2 kids are home. Filed 130 for them but it's pending still. And the waiting time is too long for me. What can you advise?
