Hi all,
been silently reading this threat since last year and I think you are all fabulous with oyour advice and support.
I have been waiting for my n400 interview for over a year.
I applied in May2017
Did fingerprints in June2017
And my status was 'in line for interview' ever since...
My Greencard expired in the meantime...
2 weeks ago, I had to reapply for a new Green Card, because of an emergency I have to travel back home for a few weeks. After multiple trips to the USCIS I got granted an extension on my GC.
Now, I am ready and able to travel; will be leaving next month.
To my surprise, yesterday, I saw that my status changed and that my interview for N400 has been scheduled! That means, I will receive a letter in the mail! and my interview might be while I am gone!
How can they give me an interview now "knowing" that I have an emergency and I have to travel?!!
I can't believe it, I am freaking out.
As anyone had to reschedule an interview??
