Interview Experience:
Officer first went through the I-130 form, asking us each to answer questions about our own or each other's family; we weren't spot on with each other's parents birth dates, but it didn't matte, don't get nervous if you don't know some detail.
Then asked me all the yes/no security questions.
Then asked about our timeline. she was a little confused, as there were some similar dates in different years, and we met abroad, and my AOS application landed the day I lost my job. The confusion may have been a tactic to have us stumble, and draw out more information.
We were told our case would need to be reviewed, and expect to receive notice by mail within a month.
I asked if there was anything amiss causing the need for review, anything we could clear up or further evidence to provide, she said no, it's just the process.
Two weeks later, email and sms confirmation of card in production.
In all, we were in the interview for an hour.
