My OCI Experince - Total 44 days ATLANTA Consulate
Hi all,
It took around 44 days for my son's OCI card, see below and hope it helps to plan
Dec 5, 2018 - Sent documents to CKGS
Dec 6, 2018 - 1.07 PM App received at CKGS, not verified
Dec 6, 2018 - 1.12 PM App verification Complete

Dec 6, 2018 - 1.15 PM On old, photograph rejected saying the tone is not good so I had to send a new one. I went to walgreen to do new photographs for baby.

Dec 6, 2018 - Resent required docs to CKGS agains
Dec 7, 2018 - 4.30 PM, received incomplete documents
Dec 7, 2018 - 4.30 PM, reverified and reprocessed
Dec 11, 2018 - 9.08 AM, application is under process at CKGS
Dec 11, 2018 - 9.38 AM, application in transit to consulate
Dec 11, 2018 - 9.43 AM, application under process at consulate
Dec 11, 2018 - 4.44 PM, US Passport reviewed and sent back to CKGS
Dec 11, 2018 - 4.52 PM, US Passport recieved at CKGS and to sorting facility for dispatch
Dec 12, 2018 - 9.43 AM, US Passport picked by UPS and OCI card to take predefined processing time i.e. 45 days for ATLANTA
Dec 13, 2018 - US Passport recieved back at home

Jan 11, 2019 - OCI govt website mentioned that OCI card is done and sent to Consulate
Jan 15, 2019 - 2.50 PM, App reviewed by consulate and in-transit to CKGS
Jan 15, 2019 - 2.54 PM, Received at CKGS and sent to sorting facility for dispatch
Jan 16, 2019 - 9.04 AM, OCI card picked by UPS
Jan 17, 2019 - OCI card received at home :-)
