Need to submit documents via email. 28-Jan: Documents submitted via email. 7-Feb: Client contacted for verification. 8-Feb: Client responded to verification email. 21-Feb: Received email to submit passport. No change in ceac status or last updated date. 22-Feb: Passport submitted at Delhi VAC. 27-Feb: Ceac Last Updated date changed to 27-Feb. Status is still AP. 28-Feb: Ceac status has changed to Issued. Last updated date also changed to 28-Feb. 1-Mar: Received email that passport is ready for pickup. 2-Mar: Picked up passport from Delhi VAC. Date on visa is same as I-797 valid until date. All the best to everyone who are waiting for the resolution of their cases. Thanks a lot everyone for their inputs while I was waiting. Personally for me, while there is a lot of relief now that visa has been issued, this incident is a stark reminder of what "the US dream" demands. Time to reconsider life's priorities.
