Applying Green Card for my mother
I just became a citizen in LA and want to apply for GC for my mother. My mother is planning to visit me next month on the visitor visa and hope she will get 6 month of stay.
Seeking advice from you all to suggest if I should apply both I-130 and I-485 concurrently with AOS while she is here. What is the current timeline? If it doesnt come in 6 months, will she get out of status?
Or is it better to file concurrently and ask for Consular processing?
Not sure which is faster and straight-forward without jeopardizing her legal stay/status.
