Hi there,

Hoping March fillers can help me out here. My receive date is march 4th, and all I have had done is my biometrics appointment on April 4th. I have yet to received my EAD, or see any status change updates. Any other March fillers can share their experience for EAD?

The process is very frustrating. I am a Canadian born citizen married to a US citizen. I am not sure why this process is taking so long. I see other March fillers have received EAD. I am already out of normal processing time. I put in an inquiry on the USCIS website.

Any information from others' experience is appreciated.

cheers

Hi, you should contact your nearest congressman and ask for assistance to expedite your EAD. It helped me. Hope this helps.

How long did you wait ? were you out of normal processing time? Also, which office did you submitt your papers to?

I'm a Canadian married to a US citizen as well, filed in November and I still don't have an EAD or AP either. It looks like people that are filing later are getting benefits sooner. It's a mystery what's going on.

I am also a March filer and after finding this forum I decided to try and expedite. We sent all of our bills, everything from lease, utility, car payments, ins and after it was assigned to an officer for review the status changed to Card Being Produced after 6 days. It does not hurt to try!

call or do EMMA chat and let them you would like to expedite your case. They will ask you the reason and let you know that you may receive notification asking for evidence.

Hi cibrahim2019 -

I have been a follower of your comments here because they are very helpful and informative.
Can you also help me how did you make your reply letter when you did your expedite?
I just had my case expedited through calling the hotline and they got me a reference code and told me to wait for 5 days through mail because they will send me the forms that I need to send back through fax. My reason for expedite is job offer and my spouse is already exhausted working for 2 jobs and our budget is not almost just enough for all of our bills and expenses.

I just need some insights on what is the best approach to make the expedite request successful and considerable.
Thanks in advance!
