Malaysian Widow Applying for B2 Visa
Hi everyone,
I have a visa interview coming up in a few days. Here's a bit of info I filled up in my DS-160: -
Age: 34, widow
Children: A son, turning 5 years old
Job: IT Executive for 3 years and 3 months
Salary: Net of RM3100 per month (been saving RM500 a month)
How to pay for trip: Self
House: Yes
Past travels: Neighbouring countries, Japan, Australia, New Zealand
Past visa: J1 (Work & Travel program, didn't overstay)
Planned days in US: 5 days (marathon and travel)
FYI, my son will not be going with me on this trip and traveling by myself. He will stay with my parents and sisters in Malaysia.
I would like to ask something regarding the interview: -
> How do I answer the question, simple yes or no, or can I elaborate more without the VO asking?
> Should I project confidence or that will look distasteful?
> What are my chances?
