Visitor Visa - B2

Hello,

I had my first interview on 11th Sept at the embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Below are my profile and details of how it went -

Position: Business Development Manager, IT (9+ years of exp.)
Purpose: To attend an IT Accelerator Program in ZZZ
Previously Visited Countries: Japan twice, South Korea, Malaysia twice, Thailand twice & India N times
Salary: 16k USD per annum

Interview -
VO: Good morning, give me your passport
Me: Good morning, here it is
VO: What is your purpose of visit?
Me: (explained the event and my responsibility)
VO: Do you have an invitation letter?
Me: Sure (Passed on the letter)
VO: It says the program started last month, why are you applying now?
Me: explained it’s a phase by phase program and why I am attending this phase.
VO: What is your monthly salary?
Me: it's xxx per month in local currency
VO: Who will sponsor this trip?
Me: My Employer.
VO: Are you married?
Me: Yes, Happily.
VO: Do you have kids?
Me: not yet, we are trying.
VO: (after 30 secs looking into the computer) congratulations your visa has been approved, you may collect your passport after 5 days from your provided pick up location.
Me: thank you so much!
