Can i renew my H1 in Canada/Mexico
Hi All,
I want to get a suggestion from you. My Wife is on L2 Visa and working on EAD and she was granted H1 in 2019 but she need to go outside US for "adjustment of status". Question is:
1) does she need to go to Home country for adjustment of status to H1?
or
2) can she go to Mexico or Canada for shift to H1?
I was looking at same data online and one of the webpage mentioned that you can renew in Mexico if you are renewing in same visa category. But since my wife is changing her visa status from L2 to H1, can she still do it in Mexico or Canada?
