L1 and L2 approved during visa interview but status shows as "Administrative Processing"
Hello All,
Me and my spouse recently attended our L1 and L2 visa interview on Sept 10th at Halifax, Canada. The interview went well, the Consular Officer informed us that our visas has been approved, gave us 2 set of endorsed I129-S and told us we should get our passports in a week. It is now been over a week and we haven't heard anything. The current status on CEAC site is "Administrative Processing" since Sept 11th. Is it common for the approved visa application to go through Admin Processing. I want to know if anyone in similar situation got their passports back within a week or 2.
