Passport renewal at SF Consulate
How much time does it take for renewing indian passport (with address change) at SF Consulate?
Hi,
I've sent my passport (issued in India) for renewal to CKGS at SF Consulate. Normal processing (No tatkaal) with address change request (Included my aadhar card as address verification document).
Oct 7, 2019 (Mon) - Package Received by CKGS.
Oct 9, 2019 (Wed) - Application processed at CKGS and "In Transit" to the Consulate for decision making.
Oct 10, 2019 (Thu) - Application "Under Process" at Consulate.
...
Waiting since then.
I've a travel planned early Nov, I'm worried if I will get my passport on time. CKGS website mentioned that it will take 2-3 weeks for renewing (After doing their initial assessment).
Any help would be appreciated if you had similar case. Should I call CKGS or Consulate?
