Procedure for lost travel documents
Does anyone know what is the procedure to follow if our travel documents are lost/stolen while in India?
I'm asking so I can be prepared in case this happens.
Scenario A is when both passport and OCI booklet is lost/stolen.
B is when passport is lost/stolen but OCI booklet is in our possession.
C is when OCI booklet is lost/stolen but passport is in our possession.
Also is it better to request our embassy to issue an emergency passport or a normal passport?
